Out The Game

In this last edition of "Out The Game" I must shed light on a icon's style that does not reflect the contributions he's made to the game of basketball. I am speaking of, "His Airness," The G.O.A.T,  Michael Jordan.  There was a time he was considered stylish by creating a professional look to the sport when he began wearing suits to games and other players followed, but now, that style pass has been revoked! As a fashion enthusiast and a true Michael Jordan fan since birth, I feel like its my responsibility to show what I am speaking about...

He has a thing for distress denim, and oversize blazers.  No sagging for MJ just chest, high pants... lol...

What in the hell are these pants??

I've been laughing hysterically while working on this post, I hope your during the same. If you want to take more style ques from MJ you should make your way here.

Standing Ovation

I met my friend Luke when I got off work yesterday at his office, and we had a quick impromptu photoshoot. For me the rainy day was unexpected so I was dressed inappropriate for it, which is a pet peeve of mine.

Tipp: Always match blue with brown
I switched out the shoelaces with neon ones from J.Crew crewcuts.  This small detail can bring a more vibrant feel to the shoes and look. I've recently started switching out shoelaces in other shoes to do the same.

Rollingstone

While everyone has been going the color blocking route, while in the process going overboard at times, the monochromatic look has gained my attention for its uniform palette.  Playing with different textures and fabrics of the same color is a different challenge than focusing on color schemes.

Shirt: Uniqlo, Tie: Ralph Lauren Purple Label, Pants: J.Crew, Shoes: Nike Air Yeezy's,
Mr. Rogers as a smurf steez.

Hustler In The Hallway

I been out the game for the past week with an eye infection, it actually looked similar to the eye that's behind me. So it was fitting, and a coincidence, that one of the main subjects of the mural was an eye.

Out The Game

When your already 6'3 or 6'4 and over you really don't need much else to gain attention to yourself, let alone wear frames with no lenses in them, which is the biggest "Out The Game" trend that's going on post game.

I do commend Russell Westbrook for his boldness with color throughout the playoffs, but He's Out The Game for looking like paint splatter wallpaper.

Probably the best I have seen Kevin Durant look off the court, even the frames, but your vision is fine, whats the purpose of them...?
